Q103 To Boldly Go
Paper pieced. Machine pieced. Machine Quilted and couched. Hanging Sleeve Included.
This was a Round Robin quilt with the RIRR ladies. The theme was Stars – one of my favorite things! I always like to make stars shine, of course. The small stars are Friendship Stars made out of metallic crinkle material. The large stars are Hunter's Squares made out of shiny polyester and couched with gold cord. I give a geek nod to my favorite outer space TV shows, “Star Trek” with the Enterprise and “Battlestar Galactica” with a Viper ship stitched in.
